Meet Our Doctors

Dr. Andrew Orchin is a native Washingtonian. He has degrees from American University and Howard University and completed his orthodontic residency at Childrens National Medical Center. After graduation in 2004, he joined his father, Dr. Jeremy Orchin, in private practice. Since that time, Dr. Andrew Orchin has become the owner of Orchin Orthodontics, and is now proud to work with Dr. Jill Bailey.

Dr. Orchin is one of only four orthodontists practicing in Washington, DC who is a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. This honor is bestowed upon a minority of orthodontists in the country who have passed three parts of a multi-year test that includes oral exams, presentation of completed cases and written tests. He is very proud to be a part of such a distinguished group.

Dr. Andrew Orchin is very active in the dental community. He is a member of many local and national organizations, including the American Association of Orthodontists and the Schulman Study Group, a prestigious national group limited to 125 of the best orthodontic practices in North America. He has also chaired the local arrangements committee for the 2010 Annual Meeting of the American Association of Orthodontists, which was held here in the nation's capital. Dr. Orchin has been chosen by his peers as one of the top doctors in DC and has been featured in Washingtonian Magazine and Bethesda Magazine. Dr. Andrew Orchin is on the faculty at Washington Hospital Center and takes great pride in teaching the next generation of care providers. He is also a Premier Provider of Invisalign.
Dr. Orchin is always looking for ways to shorten treatment time, improve our patients' orthodontic experience, and achieve excellent results. Dr. Andrew Orchin is among the few orthodontists certified by the Academy of Laser Dentistry to provide laser treatment. He is also excited to introduce our patients to SureSmile®.

Dr. Orchin understands that choosing a provider is a very personal and important decision and knows you must consider many factors in doing so. Please be aware that your care before, during and after treatment involves the entire team. Dr. Andrew Orchin is proud of his qualified team at Orchin Orthodontics. He understands that continued education and team building is of the utmost importance. He has built an outstanding team that provides beautiful and dependable results.

In his time away from the office, Dr. Andrew Orchin enjoys spending time with his sons, Max and Leo. They are big sports fans, love to travel and are thrill seekers. Max and Leo both like to ride any and every roller-coaster they can. Sometimes they even drag their father along for the ride.

Dr. Bailey obtained her doctor of dental surgery degree from the University of Minnesota. Following graduation, she practiced general dentistry for eight years. Her orthodontic specialist training was completed at Washington Hospital Center and Children's National Medical Center, in Washington, DC.

Dr. Bailey's years of experience as a general dentist provide a unique understanding of the multi-disciplinary team approach to oral health. Additionally, her sense of humor, Minnesota-nice demeanor, and gentle touch, has earned her a reputation for putting even the most fearful of patients at ease. Her time spent practicing all areas of general dentistry along with her experience in comprehensive orthodontic treatments, including orthognathic surgeries and cleft lip and palate treatments, will offer a well-rounded perspective to her orthodontic patients at Orchin Orthodontics.

Her commitment to excellence within her profession led Dr. Bailey to recently accept a faculty position at Washington Hospital Center teaching clinical orthodontics to residents. She provides patient-specific detailed treatment plans with a deep understanding of function and esthetics, combined with a drive to give her patients the most attractive and healthiest smile. She is one of a few orthodontists certified by the Academy of Laser Dentistry to provide laser treatments. She is also a member of several local and national professional organizations including the American Association of Orthodontics, American Dental Association, District of Columbia Dental Society, and American Cleft Palate Craniofacial Association.

In her spare time, you will find Dr. Bailey playing with her beloved (and terribly spoiled) German Shepherd, Roxy, and Lab-Mix, Izzy. Additionally, her hobbies include cooking, gardening, golfing, scuba diving, and exploring the world. While she frequently visits her family in Minnesota, her "Minnesota hobbies" have included snowmobiling, all forms of skiing, fishing, ice fishing, spear fishing, and basically anything you can do on the 10,000 frozen or thawed lakes Minnesota has to offer! Also, having completed the Twin Cities Marathon, Dr. Bailey remains committed to health and fitness.

Meet Our Staff

Hi, I'm Nazee! You could find me almost anywhere in the office. Have your smile ready, because I am the records technician, and I love catching beautiful smiles on camera. I stay on the run but always have a smile for you!

While out of the office, I spend my time with my family and friends. I have a daughter, Ava, who keeps me very busy. I am also an Esthetician and work as a makeup artist in my spare time.

I love interacting with our patients and bringing smiles to their faces. Even the most timid patient soon learns that ours is a fun place to visit, and that each of us is here to help them. Laughing and joking with a patient helps them relax, and it’s enjoyable, too. Who wouldn’t want to spend their day making people happy, while helping them develop an incredible smile? I assist the doctors as they care for patients, and keep the patient entertained and updated at the same time.

I have two wonderful children, Jordyn and Jhase. I’m currently attending Bowie State to earn a BA in English. In my free time, I love to read, write, cook, STUDY, and dance.

I love working with people and helping them improve their self-esteem by improving their smiles. It’s a joy to watch their confidence grow, along with their personality, as they move through care. I spend my days with our patients, making sure they are comfortable and happy while here. I take X-rays, photographs, impressions, and intraoral scans for our doctors to review. I also answer questions from patients and parents about treatment and anything else.

I have a teenage daughter who loves fashion and a baby boy who loves to sing and enjoys bath time. We have a dog that’s a Shih Tzu and Pomeranian mix. I enjoy music and family time.

I really like having a positive impact on the lives of people who want to see a difference in their smiles. It’s rewarding to experience the journey to a healthy, beautiful smile with each person. I’m always focusing on our patient during their visit, to make sure he or she is comfortable and relaxed. I talk with patients about what’s going to happen during their visit, and assist our doctors during procedures, as well as telling the patient what the doctor is doing and how well things are going.

I’m a proud military wife (GO NAVY!), with a wonderful stepdaughter, Kenzie. We also have two awesome kitties, Raven and Ally. By the way, I’m a huge Eagles, Phillies, and Flyers fan.

Welcome! I am one of the first smiling faces you will see when you come to your appointment! As the Front Office Coordinator my goal is to oversee the office operations. I help make sure all of your questions are answered and that you are seen on time (we are very proud of that and work hard as a team to make it happen)! I am also committed to making certain our patients and their families experience in our office is an amazing one! I help make your life easier by finding convenient appointment times (7 am anyone?) that work with your busy life!

While I'm orginally from Asheville, North Carolina, my heart has always belonged to DC. After spending almost every summer here since I was a child, I finally decided to commit and moved to DC in 2016. An avid travel junkie, outdoors enthusiast and admitted coffee addict, when I'm not plotting my next adventure you can find me hanging out with my dog, Atlas.
